The wilderness resembles Iceland, the spectacular mountain scenery could be somewhere in the Alps, and the colorful canyons are reminiscent of those of the American Southwest.
Combined with the nomadic lifestyle of the local herders, who tend to their livestock in the hilly plains, it creates a blend that could be called a paradise for photographers.
This portfolio was created during a trip in August 2024 through the northeastern part of the country.
